After 15 years of service, the leaving indemnity in Bahrain is 13.50 months' wage, under Bahrain Labour Law 36/2012, Art. 116. The table shows the amount at common salary levels.

How this is worked out

The first 3 years count as half a month each; the remaining 12 as a full month each.
Since March 2024 the indemnity for new service is pre-funded through SIO contributions and paid by the SIO; the employer still owes the part for service before March 2024.
